The Nattering Nabob

Sometimes I get comments like this:

I'm not sure how people draw this sort of conclusion. I think at least half the posts here are about helping people use tools like Microsoft Project more effectively than before. There seem to be two classes of people, those who think criticism is about polishing out the scratches and dents (me) and those who think that finding flaws in parts is a precursor or excuse for trashing something in the whole. I suppose it boils down to whether you believe criticism is constructive or destructive.

So my warning to readers, if it appears to you that I have trashed something dear to you, I probably haven't. However, that thing might have a mustard stain on the shirt that you should try and take care of before it sets.
